Services

Chesapeake In Order provides professional home, commercial, and virtual organizing support designed to create spaces, systems, and workflows that feel calmer, more intentional, and easier to maintain.

Consultation

A complimentary consultation is offered to clients so we can discuss project goals, scope, and determine the best approach. For larger or more complex projects, an in-person walkthrough may be recommended.

Booking & Payment

A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking and is applied toward the project balance. Remaining balances are due upon completion of each session unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Project estimates are provided during your complimentary consultation and will outline the recommended scope of work and pricing for your project.

Accepted payment methods include Zelle, cash, and credit or debit card.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with at least 48 hours notice may transfer the deposit toward one future booking within 60 days of the original session date.

Less than 48 hours notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

Exceptions may be made in the event of severe weather, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances at Chesapeake In Order’s discretion.

Project Scope & Timing

Project estimates are based on the information available during the consultation and may change. Adjustments may be made as needs evolve to ensure the best possible outcome.

If additional time or services are recommended beyond the original estimate, they will be discussed with you and approved before any additional work is completed.

Product Recommendations

Organizing products are not required but may be recommended when they support the goals of the project. Any purchases or sourcing services will be discussed and approved in advance.

Products and supplies are billed separately from organizing services unless otherwise specified.

Travel

Chesapeake In Order primarily serves Anne Arundel County, Maryland and surrounding areas.

Projects outside the primary service area may incur additional travel fees based on distance, tolls, parking, and scheduling considerations. Any applicable fees will be discussed before booking.

Illness & Rescheduling

If anyone in the home is experiencing contagious illness symptoms, please notify Chesapeake In Order as soon as possible so the session can be rescheduled appropriately.

Should the organizer need to reschedule due to illness or emergency, clients will be notified as soon as possible and deposits will be transferred to a new date.

Donations & Third-Party Services

Donation drop-off may be offered at the organizer’s discretion.

Large-scale hauling, junk removal, furniture moving, and specialized services are not included unless agreed upon in advance. Third-party providers may be recommended when appropriate.

Confidentiality

Client privacy and discretion are important. Personal information, project details, photographs, and household or business matters will be kept confidential and will not be shared without permission, except where required by law.

Refunds

Due to the nature of organizing services, refunds are not issued for completed sessions. Concerns raised within 48 hours of a session will be reviewed thoughtfully and addressed in good faith.

Right of Refusal

Chesapeake In Order reserves the right to decline, discontinue, or terminate services if a project presents health, safety, accessibility, boundary, or environmental concerns beyond the scope of organizing support.
