Services
Chesapeake In Order provides professional home, business, and virtual organizing services designed to create spaces that are calmer, more functional, and easier to maintain.
Consultation
Every project begins with a complimentary consultation to discuss your goals, answer questions, and determine the best approach for your space. For larger or more complex projects, an in-person walkthrough may be recommended.
Booking & Payment
A $150 booking deposit is required to reserve your organizing session and will be applied toward your final balance.
The remaining balance is due at the end of each organizing session unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Following your complimentary consultation, you’ll receive a personalized estimate outlining the recommended scope of work and estimated investment for your project.
Accepted payment methods include Zelle, cash, and major credit or debit card.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made at least 48 hours in advance may transfer the deposit to one future booking within 60 days.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
We understand that emergencies happen. Exceptions may be made due to severe weather, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Project Scope & Timing
Every project is unique, and timelines are estimates. If additional time or services are recommended, we’ll discuss the options together before moving forward.
Product Recommendations
Products are never required but may be recommended when they support your goals.
Travel
Chesapeake In Order is based in Annapolis, Maryland, serving clients throughout Central Maryland and Washington, DC.
Projects outside the primary service area may be available and may incur additional travel fees. Any applicable fees will always be discussed before booking.
Illness & Rescheduling
If anyone in the home is experiencing contagious illness symptoms, please notify Chesapeake In Order as soon as possible so the session can be rescheduled appropriately.
Should the organizer need to reschedule due to illness or emergency, clients will be notified as soon as possible and deposits will be transferred to a new date.
Donations & Third-Party Services
Donation drop-off may be available at the organizer’s discretion.
Large-item hauling, junk removal, furniture moving, and specialized services are not included but trusted third-party providers may be recommended when appropriate.
Confidentiality
Client privacy and discretion are important. Personal information, project details, photographs, and household or business matters will be kept confidential and will not be shared without permission, except where required by law.
Refunds
Due to the nature of organizing services, refunds are not issued for completed sessions. Concerns raised within 48 hours of a session will be reviewed thoughtfully and addressed in good faith.
Right of Refusal
Chesapeake In Order may decline or discontinue services if a project presents health, safety, accessibility, or environmental concerns beyond the scope of professional organizing services.
